Volunteering at the Fab Lab

Good morning!

I wanted to take a minute of your time to share with you volunteer opportunities for your high school students this summer at The Suncoast Science Center/Faulhaber Fab Lab.  Volunteering at the Fab Lab is an exciting and unique way to earn those hours for NHS, Bright Futures and future scholarship applications.

While volunteering students will learn technical skills such as software for both 2D and 3D applications, basic tool usage, how to use laser cutters, 3D printers, vinyl cutters, soldering irons and much more.  When you are a volunteer at the fab lab the doors open for you to pursue leadership opportunities as well as gain great teamwork, collaboration, and problem solving skills all while making friends and having a great time!

We have several information sessions coming up in April and May as well as training sessions for summer camps.  Please feel free to share the attached flyer with anyone interested.

Let me know if you have any questions or would like to chat further about recommending your students to the Fab Lab!

Brooks Law Group Biannual scholarship

Good morning!

My name is Josh Miller, and I’m the marketing assistant here at Brooks Law Group. We’re back for another semester of scholarship awards. At Brooks Law Group, we host a biannual scholarship where we award two Florida students with financial assistance to help them succeed at their school of choice!

We’d love to give your students the opportunity to win up to $1,000 to the school of their choice. You can find the link here:

https://www.brookslawgroup.com/about/community/community-outreach/

After more than 25 years of serving our community all across Florida, we want to give back to the future generation of Florida leaders. College is expensive and can be a drain on family or student finances, so we’d like to do our part to help.

The deadline for our Spring 2019 application is May 3rd, and it’s not far off now! We want to make sure your students have a chance to enter!

Scholarships allow us to give back to our community, and they also allow us to help out students that are committed to going above and beyond in their education.
